 The DVD Manager Utility provides many DVD tools in a simple, user friendly, intuitive software program. While many different DVDs play in the DVD Manager Utility, it is specifically designed and written for the WatchGuard Video DV-1 evidence disc.This Microsoft® Windows®-based software application is provided free of charge to all WatchGuard customers who purchase the WatchGuard DV-1 system.The DVD Manager Utility includes the following rich feature set:
- DVD Disc Playback
Playback WatchGuard DVD Video discs and any other standard DVD video discs! This application makes reviewing DVD video simple and easy. Playback features include forward and reverse playback speeds of 1X, 4X, 8X, 12X, 20X, 60X, and 100X. Freeze frame, single frame stepping, and slow motion forward/reverse play speeds of 0.25X and 0.5X are also supported.
- Make DVD Disc Copies
 Making full disc copies and single video title copies of WatchGuard DV-1 DVD discs is uncomplicated with the built-in DVD copy wizard. Single video title copying is optimized for quick results; only data for the selected video title is cached to the PC from the source DVD. If your computer has two DVD drives, the copy wizard allows you to directly copy video in one easy step.
 Extract DVD Video Titles as MPEG-2 Files
Want to save DVD video titles as MPEG-2 files on a local PC or on a networked storage space?No problem! The DVD Manager Utility allows you to select where you want to create the MPEG-2 files and what file name to include (i.e. "MyTitle01.mpg", "MyTitle02.mpg", etc) for each video title file created.
- Recover DVD Video Titles from Problematic Discs
For DVD discs that have been damaged with scratches or include fatal media read errors, the WatchGuard DVD Manager Utility includes a recovery capability that skips over problem areas of the DVD disc and extracts the remaining good fragments of the video title. These video fragments are then stored in MPEG-2 files on the PC.
- Simple One Touch Closed Captioning On/Off
Easily toggle closed captioning on and off during video playback with the click of a single button on the main screen.
- Quick access to Audio Volume and Audio Balance Controls
The audio volume and audio left/right balance controls are conveniently located on the main screen. The audio left/right balance level controls the audio recorded from the cabin microphone and the wireless microphone during playback.
- DVD Drive Information
The DVD Manager Utility easily displays the capabilities of your available DVD drives to confirm whether your drive supports the various DVD formats like: +R/W, -R/W, +R, and -R. (Note: +R/W is required in order to read WatchGuard DV-1 DVD video discs.)
- DVD Disc Information and Disc Copy History
The DVD Manager Utility can display information about WatchGuard DVD discs to easily indicate when the disc was originally made and by which version a WatchGuard DV-1 system. For DVD discs that are DVD Manager Utility copies of DV-1 original discs, the copy history information for each disc can be displayed and/or printed to aid in complying with chain-of-custody information requests.
